Supervision of professional, clerical, paraprofessional, and temporary staff. Direct fiscal operations,
program, and budget development. Prepare annual performance report for submission to U.S. Dept. of
Education. Provide staff training on trends in postsecondary education. Develop, plan, and coordinate
college tours, financial aid nights, parent workshops, mentor program, summer enrichment, and other
outreach activity. Implementation and management of department electronic database. Supervision of
parent advisory board functioning. Professional liaison to secondary and postsecondary institutions.
Key Results:
Has met or exceeded core program objectives in all program years since my inception as Director of
the program.
Developed template and provided direction for implementation of digital archiving of print
materials to create a more efficient work environment.

Adjunct Faculty, September 2005 - 2010
Provide instruction, motivation, and guidance for targeted at-risk college students via lecture, online,
and electronic mediums for freshman seminar course. Topics covered include effective time
management/prioritization, critical thinking, goal-setting, technology integration, leveraging and
maximizing campus resources, self-empowerment, and plan of study development.
Key Results:
Using the Blackboard online course planning tool, I successfully developed a virtual classroom
inclusive of digital delivery of key course components.
Course evaluations feedback from students has been overwhelmingly positive.
Assisted in increasing the PUC freshman retention rate for this targeted population from Fall to
Fall semesters as evidenced by annual reports by the Center for Student Achievement.
Integration of cutting edge activities to enhance a dynamic curriculum which is geared toward
