Monuments in Kielce: The Partisan Cemetery

1. ThePartisancemetery. The Partisan cemetery is situated between the streets Ściegiennego, Gagarina and Kwasa. It was established immediately after WWII when the bodies were carried there from partisan battlefields. It has nearly 300 individual graves and 23 mass graves. Pau Parra Cèlia Rey

2. The tombs. In individual tombs are buried, guerrillas from the troops commanded by Marian Sołtysiak and Jan Piwnik, boy scouts, and many victims of executions carried out by the Germans. In the collective graves lie hundreds of victims from mass executions spots.
