3. Getting to Know Our Governors
This week our intrepid
reporters, Finn and Taylor, put
their questions to Mr Doupe,
who as well as being a
Governor is also a teacher at
Norwood.
Q. Is there anything you dislike about your role as a Governor and if so what is it?
A. There’s lots of reading to do before and after the meetings!
(Finn Cromack Y3)
Q. What made you want to be a Governor of Norwood?
A. Although being a teacher is a very important job I decided as a Governor it would give me the opportunity to be
more involved with important decisions that affect everyone. As a Governor I can help make Norwood an even better
place for children to come to.
(Molly Glinn Y6)
Q. What do you like to do in your spare time?
A. I’m a really big music fan and so spend a lot of time listening to all different types of music along with going to
one or two live concerts! I also like getting out and about enjoying the many things to do in Southport.
(Katy Watkinson Y4)
