Introduction to the child and family: Jack is five-years old boy with Down Syndrome and only one child in his family. He has just started in my room where I am working as an ECE at kindergarten section. He has very little speech which sometimes makes him frustrated and triggers tantrums. His parents informed us that Jack seems very outgoing and friendly. Previous school teacher informed to Jack’s parents that Jack has speech and behavioral issue; because duringoutdoor play, sometime he lashes out at other children. Jack’s family is new to the Toronto area and asks me advice about services.
