General Motors Company — 10/2006 to date — Senior Financial Services & IT Program Manager for Latin America
Responsible for giving IT directions to Latin America, Africa Southern and Middle East regions , through the essential duties:
   Supporting the CFO to manage an annual-USD$80 million-budget planning, shared with over a hundred finance new IT projects and other
    enhancements to the current operation environment.
   Supporting GM’s Financial Shared Services Center, covering accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, freights, central billing, vehicle
    invoicing, legal & mandatory matters, such as, cash flow, indirect and direct taxes conciliation, Suframa, IN86/89/107.
   Successfully managed multiple businesses strategic IT projects through PMI best practices, through the support from the global PMO.
   Managed and supported General Motors international security and infrastructure operations for more than 95 facilities to include corporate
    offices, banking, plants, dealerships and other support offices.
   Provide Business IT strategies, facility management, SLA support, IT Policy development, performance measurement, and project support, as well
    as leading and coordinate all GM activities identified in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Service Level Agreements (SLA).
   Managing multi-teams consisted of 300 people working in multiple sites reporting to 15 Projects Managers.
Brinks Company — 02/2005 to 09/2006 — IT Director for Latin America & Canada
Reporting directly to the CIO at the IT head quarter in Dallas (Texas) and the Corporate Board in Richmond (Virginia), but based in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Responsible for giving IT directions for 9 countries in Latin America (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico and
Venezuela) and Canada, through the essential duties:
   Responsible for rolling out Oracle Financials Release 11 (full processes implementation) from a pilot implemented in Venezuela, through 5
    countries in Latin America, working as the Project Executive, not evening for the whole implementation, but covering the Project Plans
    (Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Communication, HR, Quality, Risk and Procurement). At the time the CEOs of Oracle Venezuela, Colombia and
    Brazil got involved in the negotiations.
   Manage over USD$30M IT budget to manage decentralized IT Organizations across all the countries and a team consisted of 200 professionals.
   Support the regional IS Managers to integrate all servers and consolidate the back-office applications for the region.
   Reduce the IT complexity saved around USD$7,5M over the IT budget for the subsequent fiscal year, and increases the productivity for over 25%.
   Establish contracts, procurement policies and purchasing processes, covering the whole Latin American region. This effort saved around USD$4M
    over the IT budget for the subsequent fiscal year.
   Work as the Senior IT Advisor and Business Counselor & Visionary to the Country Managers on the quality of their IT Organizations.
   Plan and deliver five-year-technology-plan for Latin America & Canada.
   Develop and maintain communications roadmaps, manage global vendor relationships, attend regional IT project meetings.
   Plan and delivered global telecommunication services.
   Develop and maintain an enterprise architecture that provides for a fully integrated suite of applications and data at the conceptual, logical and
    physical levels and allows for alignment of business needs, information, processes, security and infrastructure.
   Improve a deeper project management culture, through regional standards.
   Conduct regional IT conferences on a quarterly basis.
   Strategically coordinate with Latin America & Canada IT Managers to prioritize new production projects, and collaborative enhancements of
    existing infrastructure systems.
   Managing to centralize the servers, integrating the systems and reducing the printing services. The target is a cost reduction of 25%.
   Implementing the corporate Disaster Recovery Plan for the region as well as a specific TCO (Total Cost of Ownership).
Gartner Group — 04/2000 to 01/2005 — Benchmark & Consulting Associate Director
       Responsible for Benchmarking IT analysis (TCO studies), business development and consulting for large clients in Brazil, Argentina and Venezuela,
        considering advises, diagnosis and strategic plans counseling, concerning investments, budgets and management policies for supporting the C-
        level (high management) 35 companies, making over USD$4½ Million.
IBM — 08/1993 to 03/2000 — Senior Project & Contract Manager
       Responsible for over $5M annual project budgeting and a team consisted of 15 project managers.
       Responsible for around 150 proposals and delivering several projects along 7 years.
       Responsible for delivering and implementing 9 huge projects covering Banking Automation, SAP and CRM projects.

       Responsible for the IT area of the Financial Division including Distributed Computing, Databases, Data Center (Mainframe), Application
