OVERVIEW PROGRESS OF SMART SCHOOL



As part of Malaysia Vision 2020 plan, the evolution
of the public education system is the one of the key
  factors that is transforming the nation to be fully
                       developed
THE PROGRESS

         • Pilot Phase (1999 – 2002)
           • 88 school nationwide were selected
Wave 1

         • Post – Pilot (2003 – 2005)
           • Massive computerization phase to all 10, 000 schools
Wave 2     • computer lab, PPSMI, SchoolNet, Coursewares, E-materials


         • Making All School Smart (2005 – 2010)
           • Leveraging all ICT initiatives
Wave 3     • Qualification Standards – SSQS : WebTV and Access Centre



         • Consolidation & Stabilize (2010 – 2020)
