Addition Property of Equality: If the same
number is added to both sides of an equation,
the two sides remain equal.
Subtraction Property of Equality: States that
when both sides of an equation have the same
number subtracted from them, the remaining
expressions are still equal.

sides of an equation remain equal if they are
multiplied by the same number.
Division Property of Equality: Division Property
of Equality states that dividing both sides of an
