Reply to an exclusivity request on Ressourceinstrumentale.com (RITM)

1. RITM Visitors have the possibility to request a purchase of one of the exclusivity tracks here on
RITM.
As a composer you have 2 possibilities how to sell your work:
1 - Sell your work under a non-exclusive license (the buyers pay for the rights to use your track
framed by a user’s license; you can sell unlimited number of user’s licenses).
2 – Sell exclusive rights of your work (the buyer buys the track’s exclusive using rights.
Including rights to broadcast, sell, rearrange, change, copy, or disseminate it under the terms
of exclusive contract). You stay the owner (including inalienable moral rights of the creator),
but following the purchase, you must remove that piece of music from sale. You must also
provide separate tracks of your music piece to the buyer.
The buyer must ask permission to sample or remix the work. He must also state your name for
each use of the track.
The contract period of exclusivity is 10 years.

2. However, RITM users have the possibility to request an exclusive purchase of a piece
of music available on the website under a non-exclusive license.
It is up to the author of the track to accept or decline the request; in case of
accepting, the author offers a sale price.
Exclusive requests may be made on “Tracks” or “Artist Profile”.

3. Once the request has been made, you will receive a message by email.
You may accept or deny the request.
In both cases, we would like you to reply to it!
If you accept the request, write us an email including your exclusive
sale price and we’ll send your offer to the user.
In the event of an agreement, you only have to upload separate tracks
of your music piece in the .wav or .aiff format (uncompressed).

4. 3- Click on visibility « NO » to hide
the track in your profile (playlist)
2- Upload your ZIP or RAR file
with the separates tracks of the
instrumental in WAV or AIFF
(maximum size : 30 Mb)
1- Click on Exclusivity « YES » and
enter the price of the track

5. Once the exclusive music with separate track’s files is upload on our
server, we put it on the buyer’s account on “My products”, so that he
can make the purchase.
After the purchase, you must remove the piece of music from sale
(in all websites the track is on sale).
The buyer will be informed that he or she buys a piece of music,
knowing that the user’s licenses could have been sold before his
purchase, and that he or she in no case might question these
purchases.
Out of a commitment to transparency for buyers, we’ll mention in the
reply to the request how many licenses have been already sold and
how many are still ongoing.
