- 7. Act as a central resource for the Fairtrade system to:
Producer Finance • Develop financial solutions, strategies and tools to improve access
to finance globally
• Identify, develop and manage strategic alliances and partnerships
with financial service providers
• Collaborate with financial institutions in developing financial
products and services to suit the specific needs of Fairtrade
producers
• Make available financial management strengthening programs and
financial education for producers
• Act as a successful coordinator, facilitator and catalyst for
mobilizing capital to the global markets of producer finance
