Waste Arrangements Christmas 2011
1. 2011
Wishing You A Green Christmas & New Year
The Christmas & New Year period is traditionally one of the busiest
of the year for our Waste Management Services. In light of this, the Glass Banks:
following arrangements have been specially organised to cater for
the extra demands on our services.
In addition to our Recycling Centres there are over 115 Glass Bank
Sites located across the City. Some of these sites also accept plastic
bottles, textiles and aluminium cans. Please ensure you take bags and
Household Waste Collections - boxes home after depositing materials – littering is an offence and can
Black and Brown Bins: result in a heavy fine.
Household bin collections will take place as normal throughout the
Christmas period. For further information on Waste Collection Services, see
