Meeting with local schools counselors at our School.
On 12 April 2010, I took advantage of scheduled meeting
to explain these local counselors what Nanoyou is about.
A brief oral presentation was done followed by
explanation and question time. I handed out a paper
version of one PowerPoint presentation in Spanish
(produced by me) with a summary of the project. I
promised to email that presentation and the one for Pilot
schools. The presentations were emailed on 26 March and
again one week ago (12 April).
They were invited to forward the information and I
offered to answer any further questions on
request. I also encouraged them to make their
schools have a look at the project webpage so that
they may decided to become a participating school
this academic year or a pilot school next year. It
was also announced that their schools would be
invited to partake our dissemination activities.
The participants were four local schools and a
department of the Educational administration:
I.E.S. VIRGEN DEL CARMEN, I.E.S. ANTONIO MURO,
I.E.S. LA JARCIA, I.E.S LA ALGAIDA, EOE PUERTO
REAL, I.E.S. MANUEL DE FALLA (Host).
I.E.S stands for Secondary Education School (the legal denomination of state owned schools)
