*launched on the GSM standardization.
*The services such as Text messages , Picture messages
which were digitally encrypted .
*like TDMA , CDMA.
*speed of 64KBPS.

3G:*Introduced in 2001
*Spectral efficiency increased better than 2G technology.
*The services such as video calling ,
MMS, etc.
