Target audience- The target audience for this magazine are for people who are into R&B and Rap, they will be quiet a young audience ages around 16- 25, the magazine can also attract readers who like to read about fashion as there is a sell line saying ‘ fashion forward, however it has been written in a small font which means that the main attraction is music. The sell lines are about different music singers which attracts a music audience Image- The image is a mid-shot of Drake he is wearing black which is contrasting with the yellow and yellow connotes happiness, and black connotes danger . His facial expression is pouty with a slight look of arrogance letting the audience know that he is a confident person. Across his top the work ‘unstoppable’ has been placed the font is white, its big and bold contrasting to the black which is darkness and danger and the white is on contrast to the black because the word is striking as dangerous and how drake is unstoppable but it has been written in a white font which makes it look innocent. It also could be saying that the magazine is unstoppable. Colour Scheme- The colour scheme off this magazine is white and yellow with a black background.. The yellow adds brightness and happiness to the magazine and the white adds purity and innocence to the magazine. The black background adds to danger of the magazine, these are all contrasting colours. Sell lines- The sell lines have been written in black and yellow which stands out on the black ground . The yellow and white connotes brightness and purity standing out on the dangerous black background, and contrasting to the image as drake looks like a dangerous rapper, and he looks very intimidating and arrogant. One of the sell lines has an exclusive on Chris brown, at the top of the magazine different artist’s names have been put on this is attracting the R&B an Rap audience as this magazine is aimed at that type of genre. The sell lines are in white and yellow it looks bright and attention-grabbing directly grabbing the readers attention.

Target audience- The target audience for this magazine are for people around the ages of 16- 24, the magazine looks quiet young and it doesn’t have aspects for a reader slightly older and mature. The colours show that its for a young target audience, I think that it could attract people slightly younger. I also believe that it looks like it is mainly aimed for females, as the colour pink attract females, the blue is not dark enough to attract males because it is a baby blue colour which will also attract females. Image- The main image is Janet Jackson, she is striking a happy pose a large smile, holding her jeans, camera in her hand, these poses these poses make her look confident and bubbly this goes with the magazine as the magazine looks light-hearted. The camera in her hand makes her look like she enjoys being in front of the camera, this makes her look confident. Colour scheme - the colour scheme for this magazine is blue and pink, attracting mainly a female audience. The pink is a very hard pink to read from making the magazine difficult to read. The blue however, does stand out which will catch the readers eye. In a blue bold font the sell line Janet Jackson has been written right next to her head, so that the reader knows who the main image is. Sell line- The sell lines on the magazine are in blue and pink, the pink is a light colour making it difficult to read. All the sell lines are about music artist. The black and white colour scheme could do with her album ‘back to black’. This is how she could be going back to her drug addictions. The black colour is a very negative colour linking in with the article as she is talking about her past drug addictions and the negative side of her life.

The picture stands out of the page as she is wearing a bright red dress which is eye catching. The writing around her is also very light so the image looks brighter. Also the other images are black and white. The red dress connotes to danger this links in with the article as she could be a threat to Beyonce because the article says how Solange has one the years best R&B album. The other images around in black white are of her doing different poses this illustrates that she enjoys being in front of the camera and feels confident. The different poses look fun and it makes her look like she has a fun and bubbly personality. The text of the double page spread is in black, grey and blue. ‘solangeknowels’ has been written in a blue font which is standing out of the rest of the text, its standing out to show that she wants to stand out and not be compared to her sister. The rest of the text is in grey. The text is about how she has created the best R&B of the year, it has been written in grey, but the name being wirtten in blue makes it stand out to show who has made the best album of the year. 12. The colour scheme used is very girlie, its pink and purple and this appeals to mainly girls. The pink stand out of the page making it easy for the reader to read. There are two main images, Cheryl Cole and Dannie Minogue , the image of Dannie is a mid-long shot, where as Cheryl's is a medium-long shot this is saying how Cheryl looks much more important that Dannie and hers looks like a close up which makes her stand out more of the page Dannie's article is about how there is a new judge on the X-factor, and she is pleased with this as she did not get a long with Sharon, she also praises Cheryl, this is showing how Cheryl is loved by many people. Her Article also talks about the winner Leon and she was his mentor, this will attract fans of Leon. Cheryl’s interview is much longer than Dannie's, illustrating she Is the more, she is smiling which makes her look warm and kind. This goes with her image as she has been names the ‘nations sweet-heart’ she can be objectified sexually, and this image does not show that. Her article is about the X-factor and her becoming a new judge, this will attract people who enjoy watching the X-factor. Cheryl talks about Simone she praises him saying how he is actually a nice person, as he could be criticised about how he can be harsh to people who do a bad performance.
