5. Benefits of Athletics Many young people view athletics as a steppingstone to a better life. Participation in sports positively increases student’s attitudes and perceptions regarding education, self-perceptions, and sportsmanship. 6. Program Highlights Through our counseling center an array of support services were designed to help the whole individual. Program services will be provided year-round after school, weekends, summers, and during school vacations. PSA will help mold “at risk children’s” dreams into reality using entrepreneurial courses. PSA will offer registration, transportation, and financial assistance. Parents must participate with program activities and commit at less 12 hours a month to help the family become involved in the process.

10. B.B.A.A.D The B.B.A.A.D program is a prerequisite to participate in the Homeless Initiative and/or Patterson Sports Authority (PSA). To be successful in life one must believe in themselves. Through the B.B.A.A.D four components participants will learn techniques to increase their self value and start the course to achieving their goals. 16. FHS seeks to form a strong non-profitorganizations, local and federal government. Such a network will provide a “pathway” to support efforts for all collaborative efforts between other local government and non-profits at every level to end homelessness and provide permanent housing and anew way of life.
22. Handle Your Business (HYB) The entrepreneurship program is offered to sophomore and junior high school students. Students attend monthly training sessions, seminars and workshops for six months before graduating.
