This document describes an application called InnovateED that aims to help teachers and administrators identify disabilities within student populations and issues like over-identification. It will compare a district's data to peer districts, analyze relationships between disabilities and performance, and help with resource allocation. Tables show special education enrollment and spending data over time for Moline school district compared to state averages and peer districts. Moline spends less than peers but achieves median results. A chart shows that some districts that spend more per special education student score above the median on achievement tests, while others that spend less still achieve above the median.
