So really what you want is to know how to lose 10 pounds in a week without devoting every second to your life to it. I think that's understandable, as most people want to continue living their lives while pursuing a goal like this. Well as you probably already know, there are a few main things you can change to help you lose weight fast: Stress Diet Exercise Rest Supplements
How to Lose 10 Pounds in One Week in 5 Steps Step 1: Stress One of the best things you can do to lose weight quickly and easily is reduce your stress levels. I know this sounds crazy, but study after study has shown that stress has very negative effects on our bodies. Not only can it prevent you from losing weight, but it can actually cause to gain weight more easily than normal. Why is this the case? Well for a few reasons. The main reason is that many of us find comfort in food. When we become stressed, we look for comfort foods to help us feel better. Chocolate, cookies, ice cream, chips, cake, candy, or soda are some of the most popular comfort foods. Unfortunately, these are all junk foods that just contain empty calories. These calories tend to go to your waistline- definitely not helpful when trying to burn fat quickly! Another way stress hinders weight loss is that it changes your body's chemistry. Our bodies are pretty resilient, but many things can change how it normally operates. Too much stress is one factor, so it should be reduced as quickly as possible. Here are a few ideas to help you relieve stress: Take a vacation Go for a walk every day Play with your kids or dog Take an afternoon nap (or lunchtime if you work and get a lunch break) Read a fiction book Get more sleep A few of these changes can make a world of difference and help you lose 10 pounds in one week more than you might think!
Step 2: Diet As you've probably guessed, this is the most important factor to lose weight quickly and easily. The sad truth is that most of us know how to eat healthy, yet we choose not to. This is usually due to convenience or habit, but in the long run it's killing our bodies! To lose weight very quickly there are a few food groups you want to completely avoid. Believe it or not, there are really only 2 groups of foods that are conducive to quick weight loss- the protein group (such as proteins, nuts and beans) and the vegetable group. Everything else such as dairy, fruits, and starches are completely out. Here's why: Milk and other dairy products are unnatural for humans to consume. Despite what many "experts" say, it just doesn't make sense for humans to consume cow milk. We are the only animal species that does this, and one of the only countries that does it on a regular basis. Milk and dairy do weird things to our bodies' chemistry, which is seen most commonly in those who are lactose intolerant. In essence we are all lactose intolerant, but some are just more tolerant than others.
Fruits contain a lot of fructose. This form of sugar is turned into fat more easily than any other kind of sugar out there! Do you really want to be eating a ton of sugar while trying to lose 10 pounds in one week? Finally, we come to starches. Although they have a lot of fiber, our bodies aren't designed to eat these foods. They are converted into sugar when consumed, and again sugar tends to be converted into fat. Although these provide a lot of energy, most of us can't consume that much energy to prevent some of it from turning into fat. In conclusion, your diet should primarily be meats, nuts, beans, and vegetables. This will give you all of the nutrients that you need to lose 10 pounds in one week, but not provide too many extra calories.
Step 3: Exercise I won't go too far into depth here, but know that you need to get plenty of exercise. Trying to lose 10 pounds in a week is tough- you have to burn 35,000 more calories than you consume- so you're definitely going to have to hit the gym for at least an hour a day. In the short run, the best way to burn a lot of calories quickly is with cardiovascular workouts. Jogging, aerobics, walking, cycling, or swimming are all common examples. These get your heart rate up and boosts your metabolism, which is essential to burn fat quickly. To help you lose weight and keep it off, your best bet is to do a lot of muscle building. A lot of people take up running to lose weight, but that isn't necessarily the best way. Muscles make you stronger, let you burn more calories 24/7, and help you fight fat. If you really want to lose weight in one week, then you will probably have to do a bit of these workouts as well. Examples include pushups and pullups.
Step 4: Rest One of the main ways we tend to hurt our bodies is by not getting enough rest. The fact of the matter is that most of us need at least 7 hours of sleep a night to function correctly. Start skimping on that, and you're hurting your body in several ways: Muscles won't heal as fast You get poofy rings under your eyes Body's chemistry is thrown off Eyes get tired and sore Heart and other organs work harder than designed Lose mental clarity (can't think straight) Etc. I think that's understandable, as most people want to continue living their lives while pursuing a goal like this.   • 3. How to Lose 10 Pounds in One Week in 5 Steps Step 1: Stress One of the best things you can do to lose weight quickly and easily is reduce your stress levels. I know this sounds crazy, but study after study has shown that stress has very negative effects on our bodies. Not only can it prevent you from losing weight, but it can actually cause to gain weight more easily than normal. Why is this the case? Well for a few reasons. The main reason is that many of us find comfort in food. When we become stressed, we look for comfort foods to help us feel better. Chocolate, cookies, ice cream, chips, cake, candy, or soda are some of the most popular comfort foods. Unfortunately, these are all junk foods that just contain empty calories. These calories tend to go to your waistline- definitely not helpful when trying to burn fat quickly! Another way stress hinders weight loss is that it changes your body's chemistry. Our bodies are pretty resilient, but many things can change how it normally operates. Too much stress is one factor, so it should be reduced as quickly as possible. Despite what many "experts" say, it just doesn't make sense for humans to consume cow milk. We are the only animal species that does this, and one of the only countries that does it on a regular basis. Milk and dairy do weird things to our bodies' chemistry, which is seen most commonly in those who are lactose intolerant. In essence we are all lactose intolerant, but some are just more tolerant than others.

Do you really want to be eating a ton of sugar while trying to lose 10 pounds in one week? Finally, we come to starches. Although they have a lot of fiber, our bodies aren't designed to eat these foods. They are converted into sugar when consumed, and again sugar tends to be converted into fat. Although these provide a lot of energy, most of us can't consume that much energy to prevent some of it from turning into fat. In conclusion, your diet should primarily be meats, nuts, beans, and vegetables. This will give you all of the nutrients that you need to lose 10 pounds in one week, but not provide too many extra calories.

In the short run, the best way to burn a lot of calories quickly is with cardiovascular workouts. Jogging, aerobics, walking, cycling, or swimming are all common examples. These get your heart rate up and boosts your metabolism, which is essential to burn fat quickly. To help you lose weight and keep it off, your best bet is to do a lot of muscle building. A lot of people take up running to lose weight, but that isn't necessarily the best way. Muscles make you stronger, let you burn more calories 24/7, and help you fight fat. If you really want to lose weight in one week, then you will probably have to do a bit of these workouts as well. Examples include pushups and pullups.
