a) Extraction of carrageenan (used as gelling and stabilizing agent in food) and liquid
organic fertilizer from seaweed and monitoring the shelf-life of the products.
b) Maintained the Quality (QC/QA) of product based buyers requirement.

the plant.
d) Ensured the compliance of GLP in the quality assurance laboratory.

f) Conducted various trials on seaweeds to get value-added products eg. Marine algae

Tamil Nadu coastal area.

 Visited CSIR Institute (Technology provider -CSMCRI Bhavnagar) to get training on production of
carrageenan and seaweed liquid fertilizer from kappaphycus in pilot scale and learned various
productanalysisinthe lab.
 Attended various training programme on seaweed culture and species identification thro ICAR,
CSIR, NewDelhi and alsothrough variousuniversities.
 Attended an internal audit training programme based on ISO 22000:2005, and qualified as
internal auditor in Food Safety and Management system(FSMS) conducted by TUV SUD south
