This document provides 11 ways to get along better with others. The key points are: 1) Ask yourself if what you say is true, kind, and necessary before speaking. 2) Make and keep promises faithfully. 3) Compliment and encourage others and avoid gossip. 4) Have an open and forgiving view of others. 5) Discuss without arguing and count to 1,000 before reacting negatively. 6) Let your virtues speak for themselves. 7) Consider any criticism for truth and make changes if needed. 8) Develop a sense of humor to bring people together. 9) Focus on understanding others rather than being understood.
10. If someone criticizes you, see if there is any TRUTH to what he is saying; if so, make changes. If there is no truth to the criticism, ignore it and live so that no one will believe the negative remark
11. Cultivate your sense of humor; laughter is the shortest distance between two people. Do not seek so much to be consoled, as to console; do not seek so much to be understood, as to understand; do not seek so much to be loved as to love
12. I pray that all of us will keep these points in mind and the Biblical principles behind them so that we can continuously improve our personal relationships with others wherever we are
