When a person travels to a new place he or
she may have to acculturate to the new country.
However, when this person is actually arriving to
the new country, acculturation happens at least at
a minimum. Although, the process of acculturation
shouldn’t end up being assimilation of the new
culture.

to communicate with others from a
different culture than ours.
★ Acculturation is recommended
at least at a minimum in order for the person
arriving to the new culture in order to fit in
and like this meet his/her needs;

environment.

the new culture.
