• Andres Livov : first documentary,A Place Called Los Pereyra,
tells the story of how life in a tiny community in the Argentine
wilderness is unexpectedly changed by a a group of teenage
students from Buenos Aires visiting on a charitable mission. The
film opened in theaters accross Canada and screened in festivals
around the world.
• Heri Rakotomalala : engineer, entrepreneur, photographer,
montréaler. Heri is a partner at SeedingFactory, Jolietta, and
generally makes things happen in the Montreal startup
entrepreneurial ecosystem.

4. Video design event
• The event encourages experimentation and
innovation – participants come together
without a team, without an idea and are
given a theme (the learning revolution) to
incorporate in their new-to-the-world
ideas while meeting new people.
• We will supply info/raw material/drinks/
food... the rest is up to you!

6. The documentary
“The Learning Revolution” documentary will find
the most hopeful, thought-provoking, fun and
inspiring examples of what the learning experience is
about and will feature an incredible cast of
visionaries whose ideas are inspiring change.
We will travel to select corners of the world where
people and communities are not just thinking about
how to reinvent education, they are doing it now!

thelearningrevolutionproject.com is a hub to learn
and exchange views about the future of education.
Anyone can create an account, publish ideas, vote,
interact and share. Contribute your stories, views &
examples. Push the limits and envision what the
future of education could look like. Some of this
might even make it to the film!

9. Crowdfunding
• Crowdfunding is a way for filmmakers and their audiences to make
projects happen together.
• Project creators set a funding goal and deadline. If people like a
project, they can pledge money to make it happen.
• It is, in essence, how arts fundraising worked in past centuries, with
Mozart, Beethoven,Whitman,Twain, and other artists funding their
works in similar ways — not just with the help from kings and queens,
but by soliciting contributions from smaller patrons, often called
subscribers.
• In return for their support, these subscribers might have received an
early copy or special edition of the work.
