3. Making a Pie Graph
1) Write each number as a percent of the total.
2) Express each percent as a sector of the circle.
(Multiply the % by 360o)
3) Round off the size of each sector angle to the nearest degree.
4) Use a compass to draw a circle.
5) Draw a line from the centre of the circle to the edge. (Draw a
radius on to your circle.)
6) Use a protractor to draw the largest sector.
7) To be complete a circle graph must have as appropriate title,
shading and legend to your graph.
