Catholicism to Anglicanism (Protestantism) so he
could have a divorce
 He called it The Church of England and put
himself in charge

 After Henry dies, political conflict emerges and a
power struggle happens between his son and
“Bloody Mary”, who incites violent uprisings
 England is in constant conflict between Catholic
and Protestant forces
 It gets really bloody until Queen Elizabeth takes
the throne

help from Mother Nature
