The document analyzes the layout and use of Purdue University's Colby Fitness Center. It is split into four main sections for selectorized machines, free weights, cardiovascular equipment, and free motion machines. The selectorized machines are in the back and rarely occupied by all users at once. The free weight section is primarily used by men for building mass. The cardiovascular section is in the front and most used by women for toning. The free motion machines in the center are popular among both men and women. An update to the facility is being considered to improve the outdated equipment and structure.

I chose to use this slide design called “Glint” as a default for my entire presentation because I think that it gives off a bold, sheen look to it that a lot of fitness brochures and centers use to look professional and up to date. People always want the most up to date equipment and want to know they are getting the best results their money can pay for. This design looks professional but also fun and I think white is the best color for this background. I chose to use the font “Bernard MT Condescend” because it looks to me like a font that would be used on machines or heath club advertisements and is a very structured look with a little lean to it which appears to be in motion like people are when they workout.
