2.  The social groups represented in our opening scene is16-
25. This is, because our opening scene was filmed in a
normal house where Sonia lived and because Sonia is a
normal 17 year old girl we thought that this would appeal
to our target audience more as they would be able to
relate to her. Our thriller film covers the college students’
social groupings.
 Our representation of our social group doesn’t use
stereotypes, for example, we don’t have the typical
woman being the vulnerable character, running
away, leaving the man to save her. With research I have
done, I looked at ‘Mindhunters’ which is a psychological
thriller film. In ‘Mindhunters’ there is a vulnerable female
even in the beginning of the trailer we see, the female
character being used as an ‘escape goat’ however she is
one of the main characters.
