  internal and external stimuli
 Different people, however, have
  different responses to particular
  stimuli.
 In any given situation, different
  people may react in different ways.
 Behaviour = The sum of all of a
  person's varying response styles to
  varying stimuli.

 life style check whether it is
 scientifically beneficial to me and
 others or not?

 Think always in a comprehensive
 way and approach should be holistic
 because we have a single body with
 multiple factors playing and also
 interacting with each other.

 may look either beneficial or
 harmful but other factor may be
 counter balancing bad effect of the
 first one.

 A collection of activities
  influenced by culture, religion,
  attitude, emotions, values,
  ethics, authority, urbanization,
  politics and surrounding.

Today we find…
Majority addicted to excessive drinking,
 smoking, totally sedentary, overeating
 “wrong” foods, overly stressed.
A minority try to follow all the rules of
 eating, exercise, sleep etc.
Almost extinct - exceptionally
 knowledgeable & disciplined.




         Analyse your lifestyle

Can you say yes to ALL?
 I exercise ≥ 30min most days of the week
 I eat a healthy diet with 5 fruits most
  days
 I don’t use tobacco products
 I don’t drink alcohol
 I am within 2Kg of my ideal body weight
 These are the drivers of health care costs!

 By age 50 they suffer either diabetes, or high blood
 pressure or both.

 By 60 or 65 they would have undergone heart
 treatment & most likely would suffer joint pains.

 Occasional frequent fevers, cough etc.


 Lack of energy to work long hours or to exercise or
 play games.

Fact…
  In the last century majority of deaths were
   due to infections…which most were dealt
   with using vaccines and new advancements
   in pharmacology
  Now…Major killers are Malnutrition,
   Cardiovascular Diseases, Cancer, Diabetes,
   Stroke and HIV/AIDS
Misfortunes always come in through the door left open for
them (Czechoslovakian proverb)

 Postural check
 Drink plenty of water and very – very
  slowly

 Reduce processed sugars, preserved or

  fruit snack

  life

Today we find… Majority addicted to excessive drinking, smoking, totally sedentary, overeating “wrong” foods, overly stressed. A minority try to follow all the rules of eating, exercise, sleep etc. Almost extinct - exceptionally knowledgeable & disciplined.   • 17. Can you say yes to ALL?  I exercise ≥ 30min most days of the week  I eat a healthy diet with 5 fruits most days  I don’t use tobacco products  I don’t drink alcohol  I am within 2Kg of my ideal body weight These are the drivers of health care costs! DR IRFAN MOMIN
  • 18.  By age 50 they suffer either diabetes, or high blood pressure or both.  By 60 or 65 they would have undergone heart treatment & most likely would suffer joint pains.  Occasional frequent fevers, cough etc.  Lack of energy to work long hours or to exercise or play games. DR IRFAN MOMIN
