RELIEVING SECRETARY

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
• Arrange, Organize and co-ordinate meetings of the Senior General Manager (SGM)
and/or HOD’s;
• Be familiar with all key issues and individuals the SGM is involved with;
• Reply to correspondences on behalf of the SGM within delegated parameters of
authority;
• Deal with a wide variety of issues and people, Presenting him/herself in such a manner that
his/her authority and expertise will be respected;
• Co-ordinate the scheduling of the Mine’s Guesthouse;
• Manage all office Filling;
• Manage the office cleaning staff;
• Arrange travelling and accommodation for the SGM
• Manage the mine conference room and refreshments;
• Receiving and directing visitors to the SGM and HOD’s;
• Ensure that deadlines are met;
• Administer the time and attendance of the SGM & HOD’s;
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times;
• Ad hoc, any other reasonable duties as and when requested from time to time;
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Grade 12 and
• Secretarial Certificate, Diploma, N5 secretarial or any relevant tertiary
qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:
• 1 to 3 years Secretarial experience and office administration
• Experience as an Executive Secretary will serve as an added advantage;
• Advanced computer literacy in MS Packages;
• Planning and organizing; function professionally and effectively in a pressurized
environment; Ability to multi-task; High level Executive Secretary duties;
• Interact at Executive level.
• Must speak Setswana English and Afrikaans
• Experience as travel coordinator will be an added advantage
The candidate will be appointed on the condition of being certified medically fit as per Mine Health and
Safety Act 29/1996.
Preference will be given to applicants from previously disadvantaged groups to support the company’s
employment equity plan.
Appointment: Remuneration will be based on a rate per day.
