• Kavannah means your intentionality or how
you think about things when you read them.
• For this project I have to say my personal
Kavannah for each prayer of the Amidah.

• My personal Kavannah for this prayer is that
when I read it I think about God’s unlimited
power and how he can give life to the dead.

8. Brakhah 3: Kedushah
• My personal kavannah for this prayer is when I
read it I think about how holy God is and that
his holiness spreads through out the world.

10. Brakhah 4: Binah
• My personal Kavannah for this prayer is that
when I read it I think about how all of my
knowledge and understanding comes from
god.

• My personal kavannah for this prayer is that
when I read it I think about God’s forgiveness
for his people.

• My personal kavannah for this prayer is that
when I read it I think about God and how he
gives many chances to his people for
forgiveness.

• My personal kavannah for this prayer is that
when I read it I think about how God is the
redeemer of Israel and his power to make
people suffer.

when I read it I think about how God has the
power to heal his people.

• My personal kavannah for this prayer is that
when I read it I think about how God blesses
his people.

• My personal kavanah for this prayer is that
when I read it I think about how God unites
Jews from all corners of the world.

when I read it I think about how God fights for
justice for his people.

26. Brakhah 12: Birkat ha-Minim
• My personal kavannah for this prayer is that
when I read it I think about how God has the
power to get rid of evil in the world.

• My personal kavannah for this prayer is that
when I read it I think about how God respects
the righteous and the elderly of Israel

30. Brakhah 14: Binyan Yerushalayim
• My personal kavannah for this prayer is that
when I read it I think about how God is the
builder of Jerusalem and to this day protects
Jerusalem from harm.

32. Brakhah 15: Malkhut Bet David
• My personal kavannah for this prayer is that
when I read it I think about how God is our
savior.

34. Brakhah 16: Shomei-ah Tefillah
• My personal kavannah for this prayer Is that
when I read it I think about how God listens to
all of our prayers and thoughts.

• My personal kavannah for this prayer is that
when I read it I think about how God accepts
us as his people.

38. Brakhah 18: Hoda’ah
• My personal kavannah for this prayer is that
when I read it I think about how good God is
and how privileged we are to worship him.

when I read it I think about how God spreads
peace throughout the land of Israel and the
world.
