Hy-Vee is a supermarket chain founded in 1930 in Iowa that has grown to 228 stores across 8 Midwestern states. It began as a single store operated by Charles Hyde and David Vredenburg on a profit-sharing basis. Today, Hy-Vee focuses on providing excellent customer service and quality, healthy foods while promoting sustainability. Its mission is to make lives easier, healthier and happier through programs like Live Healthy America wellness challenges and Upromise rewards for healthy shopping.
