Recap and Today’s Topic!
• We’ve just finished
  Australian History!

• Now we move on to
  Geography!

• Today we are going to
  take a look at:

• Costal landforms and
  how they are formed!
WHAT is so important about
       Coastal Landforms?
• What is Geography?

• Are Coastal Landforms Constant or changing?
  Is it a process?

• How do we know when it’s a naturally
  occurring pattern or is Human influenced?
Geography!
• 1. The study of the physical features of the
  earth and its atmosphere, and of human
  activity as it affects and is affected by the
  above two concepts.

• 2. The nature and relative arrangement of
  places and physical features.
Before we Start!
• Lets start our definition
  list now!

• Set aside 3 to 4 pages
  of your notebook.

• We are always going to
  place the definitions in,
  before we start each
  lesson topic.
Coastal Landforms!
• Read pages 120 to 121,
  Pay close attention to
  Figure 1.
• And List the landforms
  in your note book from
  Figure one.

• Then Answer questions
  1 & 2 on page 121.
Group Activity
• In groups of three, you are to figure out what
  landforms on your list are created through
  Erosion and Deposition.
Answers!
• Who guessed where
  all the photos were
  taken from?
