Civil War Sites: A Travelers’ & Researchers’ Index to the Physical Sites of the Civil War
The Civil War Sites index contains thousands of websites with information on physical sites
and visiting physical sites related to the American Civil War including the Antebellum and
post-Civil War eras (1820-1877). These websites were harvested by Naomi House and pulled
from search engines, larger collections housed at universities, and cultural centers online. The
websites harvested help users find specific locations to visit and experience the Civil War
whether as tourists or researchers. The aim of this index is to make searching easy for every
user. To achieve this I have often cross indexed websites under many different categories. No
matter your search strategy you will find all related websites.
