2/13/2011 Human Resource Management: Importing Biometric Device Output to Open ERP 1. In Main menu -> Human Resources -> Employees -> Select All Employees Option

2/13/2011 2. List of All Employees appears.

2/13/2011 3. In main menu -> Human Resources -> Configuration -> Select shifts

2/13/2011 4. Click on New button and create required Shifts and save them.

2/13/2011 5. Biometric Device output in excel sheet format.

2/13/2011 6. In Main menu -> Human resources -> Attendances -> Import attendances -> Select Import from Biometric Device output option

2/13/2011 7. To import excel sheet Attendance Import screen appears.

2/13/2011 8. Click on Change button and Browse the Biometric device output Excel sheet.

2/13/2011 9. Click on Search button of ‘ Change Input format of xls file: ‘ field.

2/13/2011 10 . Search Preferences window appears on the screen.

2/13/2011 11. Click on New button to create a new preference.

2/13/2011 12. Form to create new Preference appears on the screen

2/13/2011 13. Enter the Configuration name and check mark the consider shift option. On selecting shift option a new field ‘ Column number of “ Present shift ” ‘ appears.

2/13/2011 14. Enter the column number of Present shift according to Excel sheet

2/13/2011 15. Enter Starting row number and the column numbers of Attendance date , Employee ID/code , In time and Out time .

2/13/2011 16. Set the Date and Time formats according to excel sheet format and Save the preferences.

2/13/2011 17. Saved Preference is inserted into the ‘ Input format of the xls file’ field. Next click on Import button.

2/13/2011 18. Biometric device output is imported to Open ERP’s Employees Master.

2/13/2011 19. To check the attendance status of the Employees go to Employees Master.

2/13/2011 20. Enter the Attendance Date and click on the Filter button.

2/13/2011 21. Attendance status of the Employees upto that date appears .
