3. EQUATIONS DOMAIN – The domain is the fancy name for set of answers that can be substituted in for the variable. Here are a few more terms associated with equations… SOLUTION – The solution is the answer to the equation. Other synonyms for solution include: ANSWER, ROOT, SOLUTION SET, etc.

4. THREE GOLDEN RULES The “Three Golden Rules” for solving equations allow you to solve ANY equation. The “Three Golden Rules” are: 1) The goal of solving the equation is to get the VARIABLE BY ITSELF.
