2. The two types of tundra are Arctic Tundra and Alpine Tundra.

3. The Arctic Tundra is a cold vast, treeless area of low swampy plains in the far north around the Arctic Ocean

4. The Arctic Tundra can be found in the northern land of Europe (Lapland and Scandinavia) ,Asia (Siberia) North America (Alaska and Canada) as well as most of Greenland.

5. The second type of Tundra is the Alpine Tundra which is a biome that is located on tops of mountains above the tree line .

6. Permafrost is permanently frozen subsoil which makes it impossible for trees to grow high.

7. Some of the animals that live in the Arctic Tundra are polar bears, artic fox and snowy owl.
