O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty. 2 Who covers thyself with light as with a garment
Daniel 2:34 You saw till that a stone was cut out without hands which smote the image upon the feetCut out of what? The answer is in verse 45:Forasmuch as you saw that the STONE was cut out of the MOUNTAIN without hands
John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of meJohn 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto youTitus 3:4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 3:6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our SaviourEph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ…2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
Judges 9:6 And all the men of Shechem gathered together, and all the house of Millo, and went, and made Abimelech king, by the plain of the pillar that was in Shechem.9:7 And when they told it to Jotham, he went and stood in the top of mount Gerizim, and lifted up his voice, and cried, and said unto them, Hearken unto me, ye men of Shechem, that God may hearken unto you.9:8 The trees went forth on a time to anoint a king over them; and they said unto the olive tree, Reign thou over us.
But God still promises to make Abram “a father of many nations” and changes his name to Abraham to emphasize his new status. “…and kings shall come out of thee” (Gen 17:6).There was no alternative to God’s plan. No proxy son, no adopted son. God promised Abraham a real, literal son that would “come forth out of” Abraham himself!
When Abram paid tithe to Melchisedec, Levi is given credit for paying tithe as well!So also Jacob paid tithes in Abraham, and Isaac paid tithes in Abraham. Because Isaac, and Jacob, and Levi were all virtually in Abraham. God “calls those things which are not as though they were”! (Rom 4:17).
It’s been nearly a quarter of a century since Abram, now Abraham, was given the first promise of a son. But the time has finally arrived. The LORD pays Abraham and Sarah a visit. God promises to return “about the time of life.”Why did God have to return at the time of Sarah’s delivery? This was a miracle birth. Isaac was born only by God’s direct intervention. Isaac received his life from God. Abraham didn’t have any life to give Isaac, And Sarah had no life to give Isaac.
Paul details the SEQUENCE of man's creationWhy was Adam formed first?Because the Father was first and Jesus was second.Adam and Eve were created in the image of God
Why do the angels need to see this demonstration, this illustration of the Father and Son?Because we are the textbook of the universeThe relationship of the Father and Son had been called into question in heavenLucifer questioned the Father and Son, he decided that he had the right to be equal with God
