2. God Is Good To All!
James 1:17-18
• That God is good to all, is more
powerful than most realize.
•We are special to God.
•Since we are so blessed and
special, as God’s people we
should learn how God wants us
to behave.
•The facts of guidance in these
verses will help any who heeds
them to live better.

3. How We Are To Interact With
Others… James 1:19
•Many if not all people problems
can be fixed by doing these three
things.
•Most folks don’t do these things
that God is instructing us to do
here. This is what causes so
many broken relationships.
•Let us work to insure that we do
not violate God’s law in these
things.

4. As Beloved Brethren We Must
First Be Quick To Listen!
•Too many have been divided by
a failure to do this.
1 Cor. 1:10; 2:16; 3:1-3
•This means we must get all the
facts before we make a decision
on a matter. Prov. 18:13; Jn.7:51
•May it never be said of you that
you are dull of hearing. Heb. 5:11
•Therefore, pay attention and do
not jump to conclusions. Lk. 8:18

5. Secondly, We Must Be Slow To
Speak!
•If we speak without thinking
properly and not having the right
information we can do much
harm. 1 Tim. 6:3-4; Phil. 4:8;
Proverbs 16:27-28
•We must think before we speak!
Proverbs 15:23, 28
•Thus, we must use proper
wisdom in our thinking before we
speak! James 3:17-18; Col. 4:6

6. Thirdly, We Must Be Slow To Wrath!
•Why? Because the wrath of man
DOES NOT produce the
righteousness of God! Jas. 1:20
•We must be righteous! 1 Jn. 3:7
•Jesus was slow to wrath.
Luke 9:54-56; Psalm 103:8
•We must be this way too!
Proverbs 15:18; 16:32
•Deal with your anger quickly and
rightly. Ephesians 4:26-27;
Psalm 37:8; Colossians 3:8

7. Finale:
•Let us behave like God’s people and develop
strong relationships and proper
communication by being, quick to listen, slow
to speak and slow to wrath!
•Are you in need of prayer? James 5:16
•Are you in need of salvation? 1 Cor. 15:3-4
•Hear and believe the gospel. Rom. 1:16
•Repent of sin. Acts 2:38
•Confess Christ. Acts 8:37
•Be baptized to be saved. Acts 22:16
