As a second year teacher, my exploration of ‘Personal Learning Networks” and global collaborative projects led to my co-founding The Global Classroom Project with Deb Frazier, from Ohio, USA. Originally intended as a one-off project, the “Global Classroom” has evolved into a grassroots online community helping connect over 450 teachers from 42 countries as they explore new ways to connect, learn, share and collaborate globally. In this presentation, I will be sharing my story, and exploring the ideas, people, projects which have grown out of the #globalclassroom community over these past few years. http://theglobalclassroomproject.wordpress.com
