                Foods

  This book will teach you how to
decide what foods are healthy for
breakfast and what foods are bad for
breakfast. It can be hard to decide
what to eat for breakfast, and this book
will help you.

      Fruit juices like orange and apple
    juice give you nutrients and vitamins
    needed to get your day started right.
    Vitamin C, Vitamin A, and Vitamin D
    are in 100% fruit juice.

  Fruits provide nutrients and vitamins
and help give you energy for every-day
activities. Some great-tasting fruits are
apples, strawberries, peaches,
bananas, grapes, and oranges.

      Eggs and omelettes provide you with
    a lot of protein and are low in
    saturated fat. Omelettes that have
    vegetables and cheese are also good
    for you.

Whole-Wheat Pancakes and
           French Toast

  If you eat whole wheat pancakes and
French toast you will obtain more
nutrients than eating regular pancakes
or French toast. Whole-wheat
products contain less sugar and more
protein.

  Whole-wheat bagels and toast is
good for breakfast because they have
more fiber than regular bagels and
toast. They provide a good amount of
calories that lasts for the day, but it is
not more than you need.

Whole Grain Cereal and Muffins


       You should eat whole grain cereal
     and muffins for good amounts of fiber
     and if eaten with milk you can get
     calcium to strengthen your bones and
     teeth. Whole grain products contain
     less calories than non-whole grain
     foods.

MIlk and Yogurt


  Drinking milk and eating yogurt with
breakfast gives you an extra boost of
calcium and energy. MIlk and yogurt
provide vitamins, especially Vitamin C,
and are usually low in fat.

Salmon


       Salmon is good tasting and has many
     nutrients such as protein for body
     building and is low in fat. It also
     contains calcium, Vitamin B, lowers
     your body rate to form blood clots, and
     can lower your bad cholesterol.

Unhealthy Sweets


  As good as sweets may taste, they
are not a good breakfast choice. These
sweets are high in cholesterol, sugars,
and fats. They are also low in vitamins
and nutrients.
