Orange's open infrastructure aims to catalyze the market by enabling third-party services and applications on a common platform. 3) Orange has chosen the OSGi technology and partnered with ProSyst to develop an open home automation infrastructure. Their initial experiments use an OSGi-based home controller and Zigbee for wireless communication.
