Power Point (update 12/ 2013): Troyer patented laser video projector's many applications explored. Background & evolution of technology is shared. PROMO: update 10/ 2016. PAIN: The digital ecosystem has a big hole. Missing is ability to portray evolved camera/ sensor dimensional depth capture. Sensors have progressed with Moore's law. Displays are still in the dark ages. POTION: #MetatronZ & Z*Tron Vision (#Z*TV) laser projectors are able to replicate & amplify (without pixels) the depth captured sensor imagery. #IFITIS5d attributes: laser images with infinite depth of focus; instant transfer; innate sharpness. Technologists in Hollywood & industry are stuck with "rectangular fetishism:" flat screen/ two channel/ 3D stereo with glasses. Even the new laser projectors for digital inema (IMAX/Barco; Dolby/ Christies, Sony, etc.) use the flat screen stereo formula. Their technologists attended MetatronZ demonstrations in LA & Silicon Valley. Rockwell Collins/ JVC broke signed contracts with Metatron Inc. (Cal.) / Metatron Zone LLC. (Iowa). All companies are infringing the Troyer patents willfully -- except Christies. All are infringing but are still in flat screen stereo reality. They do not deliver the great attributes of #IFITIS5d. Thus they cannot produce the important #5DReality necessary for mixed realities, immersive simulation and real time dimensional dome worlds. SINFUL: Digital Laser Projection has pixel screen door effect artifacts. The IMAX engineer states (12/ 2016) that pixels cannot be eliminated, but IMAX does a good job of partially hiding them. They are doing global theater installations with digital cinema laser projectors that still have pixels/ ghosting/ latency in fast moving images. HELP! Theater owners are again having sub-standard projectors shoved down their throats. 98% of the global theaters installed dull 1/2 color low contrast (grey black) ghosting / headachy 3D arc lamp projectors (2002 -2016). Artists/ directors. Why didn't you scream for a better canvas? Shame on you, James Cameron. In 2003 you were well aware of Metatron laser projector with full filmic colors & high dynamic range with real black blacks and no ghosting or pixel artifacts. Mr. IMAX CEO Gelfond! Why don't you finally figure out after spending near a billion $$ through the years thwarting us/ trying to replicate, that you cannot squelch/ steal MetatronZ. You could have made a deal in 2000 and had our many waiting clients when we demonstrated on the IMAX dome in San Jose #IFITIS5d with full color spectrum—better than film. But the hired Zuddites whacked us. They stole our assembled projectors & stopped the Roy Disney/ Metatron partnership. So far, no one has delivered #IFITIS5d. THE TIME HAS COME. We will deliver. Participants/ audiences will finally experience immersion. Flat land worlds transform to 5D Reality, as important as when silent became sound & black & white transformed to color.

All the above infringe on the basic Troyer patent claims:
Laser light beam directed to reflective light valve (RLV): DLP, LCoS, MEMS,
LED, etc. with red 635 nm or over for full color spectrum.
Sub-claim: Add cyan to RGB (Red/Green/Blue): less speckle; more saturated
http://www.display-central.com/lle-provides-details-speckle-new-products/
“Secret Sauce” Sony states extended green eliminates speckle
Cyan (blue/green) with 635 nm. red or above.
In order to have best 3D stereo or auto dimensional images, the attributes
of the laser beams have to be kept to the screen.

30. TechCrunch: James Cameron Interview
TechCrunch: Is the future of 3D about the movies or TV?
Cameron: The future of 3D will be defined by TV. The reason for that is
it’s going to solve this whole conversion issue. Because the 3D
production cycle for TV is so short. You don’t have time to do a
conversion. It just doesn’t exist. It’s just not part of the vocabulary. So,
the tools for shooting it, posting it, delivering it, displaying it, are all
going to be proven in the TV markets and then movie guys are just
going to have to get in line with it.
TechCrunch: What do you think about the state of 3D TV’s?
Cameron: Mid level big flat panels are 3D now. — It’s really not that
big a deal anymore. So, I think where it’s ultimately got to end, is
glasses free viewing in the home, on the big screen

33. Troyer Basic Patented Design
• Answer to the next laser projector display.
• Streamlined and less expensive (KISS)
• Troyer team has accomplished much, even with severe
interference from competitors and not sufficient
funding.
• Many companies have nothing to show after spending
100’s of million; This is because they started from the
wrong premise – the wrong architecture—the wrong
design.
• They do not have the luxury of having almost 20 years
of R&D with laser projection with the TRW war room
laser projectors as a platform.
34. How Does Troyer Understand Laser Projectors?
• Troyer designed meta-mix venue (Iowa City) performance, back set, TV studio club
• Troyer education: TV production, Film production, Multi-media, Inter Media
• Graduate writer’s workshop (Kurt Vonnegut teacher).
• Many productions (feature, public TV, commercials, documentaries).
• Grand Daddy’s / Rosebud studios were probably first TV studio club world wide.
• Public TV Tween show (Cornucopia), Star talent search show, Other TV shows.
• One of first music video clips –example for MTV – Fabulous Thunderbirds
• Troyer was hired to design studio and staging for Hollywood Palladium.
• Goal: design the next step back staging for performance and TV studio venue.
• Realistic images-- Wish List: Full color, high resolution, high contrast.
• Ability to adjust to curve, dimensional images.
• Troyer reviewed projectors on the market and in the labs.
• No projector could provide realistic backsets. The GE Telaria had good colors.
• Troyer was informed of TRW laser projector for war rooms command and control.
• She arranged a demonstration for the TRW laser projector at a lab in Silicon Valley.
• Troyer discovered infinite depth of focus: TRW projector image was always in focus
(no other displays) She moved white board back and forth (image always focused)
• Troyer understood infinite focus attribute was a missing link for 3D displays.
• Troyer knew instantly that this attribute was needed for 3D curved back sets.
35. GOAL: Licensing, Assignments, Strategic Partners
Deliver Best Projector In Volume
• Work with strategic partner vendors.
• Volume vendor parts provide favorable projector price.
• Stream lining to be globally competitive.
• Prepared for volume orders.

home/ gaming/ medical/ scientific/ industry.
36. Troyer: Laser Projection Representative
Troyer Represented TRw Laser Projector to the Hollywood Studios
Troyer designed for Paramount TV show based on always in focus sets.
Al Mirabella (Disney Imagineering) supported introduction to studio theme parks.
TRW contract was over and the projectors were mothballed right before Desert Storm.
(No room for laser battery backup war rooms -6 floors underground)—SAC, MAC, NORAD.
Troyer purchased the 8 projectors. TRW provided boxes of studies, R&D and drawings.
Took laser projectors to Los Angeles from Omaha. Hands on experience/ doing many upgrades/
Great feed back and suggestions from studio experts at demonstrations.
TRW War Room Command & Control Laser Projector
Only laser projector that has been successfully launched: Ran 24/7 for 3 years; 97% up time.
Over $500 million invested in R&D. Sold for $360,000 each.
TRW used flat screens. TRW did not use the infinite focus aspect ( found it a distraction).
Not eye safe -- delivered the laser beams directly out of the lens (flying laser scan).
TRW design was not optically efficient. More than 40 optics in the optic train.
Z*Tron Vision Patented Process Overcomes These TRW Defects
Much Brighter: Streamlined the optic path (under 10 optics instead of 40)
Solid state lasers instead of gas; Changed modulation method from Acoustic to reflective light valve.
Troyer patent (2001): modulation with reflective light valve (RLV); Laser images eye safe with RLV.
Created a larger color spectrum by using deeper nanometer red (over 635 nm,)
37. CAVE DREAM
Show natural realistic visuals in curved space.
Build realistic immersive environments in real time–
the holodeck.
Cross fertilization of disciplines to create new
paradigms.
Z*Tron Vision transforms flat screen reality to curved
space --- as dramatic as when talkies replaced silent
film and black and white became color.
38. INFINITE SHARPNESS (IF IT IS)

40. ESTIMATED WORTH
Licensing, Assignment, Strategic Partners
EVALUATORS ACCESS MZTV PATENTS AS “STRONG”
Demonstration models show ‘Proof of Concept’
If the business model is handled correctly and the patents are
carefully monitored for infringement, a great deal of income can
be received from strategic partner licensing and building new
companies and sub-companies.
NOTE: Industry is frustrated: there are no laser projectors on the
Market (Evans & Sutherland mothballed – was not bright and did
not have infinite focus). Many companies have placed hundreds
of millions into development of laser displays and have failed.
Thus, the Industry is waiting in anticipation for the discovery of
the long sought solution.
41. MANY COMPANIES ARE WORKING ON LASER PROJECTORS
(KODAK DEMONSTRATING LASER PROJECTOR -- TO LICENSE)
• IMAX is now investing in a laser company to flood a light valve (not
efficient use of laser light and causes ghosting artifacts).
• Sony has developed a laser module. Samsung, Mitsubishi, Toshiba and
many others are working on laser displays.
• The question now in the industry is who will deliver?
• Companies license Z*TV (proven as the laser projector solution).
• Z*Tron Vision has open architecture patents on the whole projector.
• We use reflective light valves that works best for us: DLP, LCOS, and LED.
• Licensors receive best laser projector design based on light valve device.
• Region/ countries receive the assembled Z*TV and extended platforms.
• Often licensors add their applications; Sony who will probably want to
assemble their own.
• 2010: Develop the licensing and lease model on landscape that exists.
42. Some Licensing Negotiating Areas

The 2006 Troyer patent claims cover expanded laser beams spatially modulated by
any/ all reflective light valves (claims broadened from liquid crystal light valve)
Kodak refers to the Troyer patents in at least 3 of their patents.
This is their attempt to write around the Troyer laser projector patents.
Kodak uses lasers, keeping the polarization and coherence for their 3D.
Kodak presents two channel stereo using the infinite focus attribute.
Two channel stereo is a described process in Troyer published white paper: 2005.
White paper suggests a better auto stereo approach than two channel glasses 3D.
Kodak Prototype model uses claims from Troyer patents
• Lasers addressed to a reflective light valve with full colored images (635 nm red or
above) for full color spectrum mix.
• Infinite sharp infinite depth of focus images by keeping coherence and polarization
to screen to create full color dimensional (with depth) images.
• Many other claims
44. COMPONENT DESIGN ON TRACK

Troyer about the patented approach with lasers. Intel engineers explored ZTV infinite focus
architecture to enhance and simplify the Intel design and make their display more
competitive. The Intel CEO decided the lasers were not mature at that point and dropped
the 100 million dollar display project. Many were waiting for the Intel display and Intel stock
fell. The world market is still waiting for such a display. Finally the lasers are mature.

Subject: Laser Projectors
Diane,
It was a pleasure talking to you yesterday. I am very happy to hear that the production of your
Laser Projector is progressing. I greatly appreciate your keeping me in the know.
The sooner you can go into production, the sooner I can lease your projectors. Then I can start
taking advantage of your projectors capabilities to solve some of my production problems, and
give our creative minds a new tool to work with to create new vistas.
On a recent remote production at SeaWorld in Orlando with Wheel of Fortune, a laser projector
would have been the perfect tool to use to project on two air balloons that we used on the set,
as well as onto the two fountains in the background. The solution we came up with was less
then ideal, and far more money then I wanted to spend. When dealing with the Art Department
and our technicians, there were many times I wished I had the laser technology available to me.
I look forward to hearing from you soon, with the good news that I can start renting your laser
projectors.
Best of Luck, Bob Sofia
