sound wave and is related to volume.
Amplitude is measured in decibels (dB). Most
people can recognize about a 3 dB change in

waveforms, other than a sine wave. Other common

related to frequency. It is measured in degrees and is used to

they can completely cancel each other resulting in little or no
sound.
