PROCESS FOR NEW JESUS CLUBS
• Start up period: from first contact with
the church to 1 year of running a club.
• Approach churches in target areas.
• Meet with ministers and agree to set up
a club.
• Mentor a Coordinator.
• Train a team of Leaders.
• Recruit a group of regularly attending
Members.
• Connect with community, e.g. local
group homes.
• Provide resources for first year of club.
The 1 Year Start Up Package
• Agreement between JC and church
(including financial commitment).
• Coordinators Basic Kit:
– Visit to Jesus Club
– Safe Ministry
– Before You Start Curriculum (Recruiting
Members, Teaching the Bible, Managing
Leaders)
• Orientation Training for Leaders –
workshops and online.
• Teaching Material for first year: “Who is
the King?”
3. 2. ENSURE THE ONGOING HEALTH OF
EXISTING CLUBS
• Ongoing Period: from the second year of
a club to the 5-10th year.
• Provide advanced ministry development
for Coordinators and Leaders.
• Supply a wide range of resources, e.g.
Bible lessons, songs, games, activities.
• Facilitate additional club features, e.g.
events, outreach to parents, integration
on Sunday, involvement of the wider
church.
• Review and improve.
• Gather resources from clubs and train up
key people for greater JC roles.
Ongoing Health Package
• Coordinators 3 Year Online Training
Course:
– Full Curriculum (e.g. challenging
behaviours, managing Leaders, inviting
families to church)
• Leaders 2 Year Online Training Course.
– Videos, quizzes.
• Teaching Material - extensive range of
Bible lessons.
• Workshops – on a variety of topics to
improve clubs.
• Annual Conferences.
4. 3. DEVELOP THE ENGINE
• The engine comprises of the resources
needed to reach the two previous
goals.

• Pray:
– Systematic, regularly meeting prayer
team.
• Fund-raise:
-Appeal to supporters.
-Develop public profile.

• Recruit and train Christians to:
-Produce materials for our library.
-Set up new Jesus Clubs.
