Notification for a Work Order Status
Change!
Create Email Notification: Hands-On
Navigate to the Rules Manager via
Tools Menu  Rules Manager
Select New
Select the Event Work Order Status
Change to Cancelled
Create Email Notification: Hands-On (cont’d)
Add “ – Your Name Here” to the
end of the Rule Name
Enter 1 as Rule Order
Create Email Notification: Hands-On (cont’d)
Uncheck the Rule Enabled?
Indicator
Save your Rule
Find your Rule in the List, select it,
and click Edit

Navigate to the Criteria tab and add
the Type as Safety
Navigate to the Actions tab and select
the Send Email indicator

Select the Recipients tab and enter
your email address
Check the Rule Enabled? indicator
Click Save

To create a test Work Order to
trigger this Notification, select the
arrow next to the New button, and
select Work Orders
Fill in the required details
highlighted in blue
Type = Safety!

Select the Action bar  Cancel
Put your initials in the request for
Labor Report and Apply
You will receive the email
notification that the Work Order
has been cancelled
