CBIE Presentation on e-Services for Immigration Applications

This document summarizes Citizenship and Immigration Canada's (CIC) e-Services presentation to the CBIE on November 4th, 2008. It outlines the Electronic Notification System (ENS) that was implemented at 16 pilot schools to notify Designated Institutional Representatives (DIRs) electronically of students' off-campus work permit requests. Statistics on usage show high rates of online application and document submission among students. CIC plans to expand ENS to all eligible schools and applications, and support DIRs through training, guides and demonstrations.
