The Advance Newsletter extension allows you to enhance and add useful and practical features to Magento’s existing newsletter functionality. It permits you to integrate your own newsletter layout templates with those of Magento. You can load and preview newsletter layouts simply by selecting one from a host of options. You can also modify and insert messages into pre-loaded layouts.
3. Open your Magento Admin Panel and follow
these steps:
1. Select Newsletter > Layout Template
4. 2. Select any layout from the grid to edit it. Click on
the Add Data button to create a new layout.
5. 3. You can browse your own layout, load it in a
“WYSIWYG” editor, or create a new layout using
“WYSIWYG”.
• Layout File Load: Browse for a layout file and load it.
• Layout Content : Insert widgets and/or images in the
layout content using the WYSIWYG editor.
• Layout style : Write style sheets for your layout.
• Layout Screen Shot : Browse screen shots.
• Preview Layout : See a preview of your layout.
6. 4. The same steps hold true for editing layouts.
8. 6. Select the a newsletter from the grid to edit it. Click
on the Add New Template button to add a new
newsletter template.
• Select Layout : This field shows screen shots of existing
layouts. When you select one, its content is loaded in the
“WYSIWYG” editor.
• Preview Newsletter : Preview the newsletter.
10. 8. You can import subscribers category-wise from
here. Browse to your CSV file and click Save Data to
import subscribers. Your CSV should be in the
following format:
12. 10. Select Queue Newsletter… from the Action field of
any newsletter row.
• Select Category : You can select the category to
which you want to send this newsletter
template.
