in other areas.
4. Demonstrative Music Theory
• We will learn Basic Music Theory in my class
•You won’t have a paper & ledger exam or homework ever.
•You will have to demonstrate the concepts with Garageband
or any other program in 4 to 8 bars of music.
• These will be small tasks & not projects. Often this will be
light homework (20 minutes or less).
6. Small Lessons
Many Choices
• I’m going to be all over the place: vocal training/warmup/
philosophy, mic’ing amps, studio language, attitudes of success, music
licensing, Ableton, Pro Tools, Skyping, Songwriting, Lyrical
development, teamwork, philosophies of success, and so much
more.
• If you like something we do & want to pursue that topic, just ask
and we will either as a whole class or small group.
• Small group activities/projects can happen by request.
