27. What is persuasion ?: The process of influencing audience and bring change in the perception or attitude through planned advertising or Public service messages. The attitudes of individual citizens are the raw material out of which a consensus develops. A genuine health care planner can well understand its importance
28. In case of thalassemia a well designed Audio Visual communication in the less developed area of Pakistan may bring a significant change in the attitude of the locals.
29. Audio visual campaign can be used successfully in the following areas: 1) To promote mutual understanding. 2) To persuade individuals, groups etc. 3) Help in fund raising. 4) To bring change the behaviour and attitude of the public. 5) Influence people. 6) To develop confidence in patients and win friends. 7) Avoid risk involved in misunderstanding. 8) Improve internal staff relations.
