3. The aim of the project
To extend vocabulary on the topic “Science and
inventions” ;
To practise using the grammatical structure “Passive
Voice” in oral and written speech;
To indentify the relationship between the inventions of
different times and the current state of human civilization;
To develop the ability of pupils to set goals properly , to
be creative, to defend and justify their point of view;
To develop the ability to work in a team;
To raise understanding of the importance of the research
topic
4. The relevance of the project
We live in а very difficult time, that`s why five
weeks ago you decided to investigate the
development of science from ancient times
to the present, to examine different kinds of
inventions. The greenhouse effect, tsunami,
drought, famine are the results of human
activity. Are we at the end of our
civilization? What inventions must be
blamed?
