1. CINEMA FILMS Everyone thinks that films are really enjoyable. But what kind of films do people really like ? That’s the question…. Today, I am going to talk to you about different kinds of films, film companies, and more things to do with films that you will soon discover…
2. People have different kinds of tastes: some people like animation films, some like scary, violent, romantic or comedy. It all depends on what kind of person you are. Normally when you are a kid you really like animation films, but then when you grow up into a teenager you start liking scary and violent films, and when you are an adult you start going back to the classics and you really like romantic and comedy films. Maybe I am wrong but normally it is like that. GENRES OF FILMS
3. SOME KINDS OF FILMS how to cut and paste a whole slide
4. At the beginning of a film there is always a logo followed by the name of the company which made the film. Sometimes it is more than one company. To give an example, you may recognize “WALT DISNEY PICTURES PRESENTS A PIXAR FILM” followed by the logos: COMPANIES AND LOGOS
5. At the beginning and end of a film there are always the names of people involved in making the film. These are called the film credits. The credits at the beginning are called the front end credits and these are usually the names of the stars, producer, writer and director. The credits at the end are called the end roller credits because they roll down. These are for everybody who worked on the film, from the set designer to catering staff. CREDITS
6. HOW ARE FILMS MADE??? A film starts as an idea by a writer, the director or the producer. The producer has to raise the money to make the film. Films are VERY expensive to make. He has to hire the actors and all the crew. When this is done work can begin on the film. It seems easy but there are a million things to do like finding locations, rehearsals, making costumes and all the special effects. A crew is very large, between 50 and 250 people working every day for many weeks. By the time a film gets finished and you see it in the cinema it could have taken 2 or 3 years.
7. AT LAST!!! Now you get to see it - first: In the cinema, secondly: on DVD, then on television. But there is still a lot of work to do for the film companies as they have to convince you to see the film… WHEN A FILM IS FINISHED
