THE FIVE STEPS TO SUBMIT AN ARTICLE
STEP 1: STARTING THE SUBMISSION
STEP 2: ENTERING THE SUBMISSION’S METADATA
• Select a section in the journal.
• Check off the submission checklist.
• Enter text in the Comments for the Editor box.
• Click on Save and continue.
• Select a form language.
• Enter data about the Author.
• Click on Add Author, when necessary.
• Enter the article’s title and the resumen, resumo and/or abstract,
when necessary.
• Enter the article´s language. Write the two first letters. Use small
letters.
• Identify the supporting agencies, when possible.
• Click on Save and continue.

STEP 3: UPLOADING THE SUBMISSION
• In Submission file, click on Examine to load the article’s files,
including the cover page which should not include the authors’
names or their affiliations to guarantee the anonymous evaluation
process. Then, load the rest of the article: the Abstract, Resumen
y/o Resumo and the whole file.*
• Click on Save and continue.
• Visualize the data about the file. Changes can be made from here.
• Click on Save and continue.
*In this file, references, tables and figures and their legends should
be included on separate pages. If there is supplementary material or
special format components (e.g. photos or videos), they should be
loaded in the next step (Uploading Supplementary files).
THE FIVE STEPS TO SUBMIT AN ARTICLE
STEP 4: UPLOADING SUPPLEMENTARY FILES
•Load Cover page 1 including Authors’ data, their affiliations and
acknowledgements. Remember it is compulsory to load it in this
step to guarantee the anonymous evaluation process. Images,
tables, spreadsheets and others should also be loaded in here
separately.
•Fill in a form for each file to be loaded.
•Provide the article’s title since it is a compulsory datum. However,
it is recommended to provide all the known data about the article.
•Load supplementary files and take into account you have the
option to send each file to reviewers *.
•Click on Save and continue.
•Edit o delete from the file list.
•Click on Save and continue.
* Remember NOT TO SUBMIT Cover page 1 to the Reviewers to guarantee
the anonymous evaluation process.

STEP 5: CONFIRMATION
• Click on Finish Submission to submit your article to AUGMDOMUS
journal.
• A confirmation e-mail will be automatically sent to you.
• Follow the review process on the same author’s page.
• Click on Active Submissions.
Click on Active Submissions
to see the list of submitted
articles again.
