I Noted That… Nonprofits should understand who they are dealing with in social networks: millennials, free agents, influencers, etc. Social media builds social capital (trust & reciprocity that make relationships meaningful). First step in becoming a social network is to face and overcome fears of would could go wrong.
7. I Took Notes. I Noted That… Guide action and conversation, but don’t force it. Be transparent. It may be discomforting, but it can be very beneficial. The power of less= identify the essential elements of what you do & eliminate the rest. Use the network crowd to microplan (Breaking down events & efforts into bite-sized pieces).

10. Free Agents Defined: individuals working outside of organizations to organize, mobilize, raise funds, & communicate with constituents. Jump from cause to cause as they are moved to support. They don’t stick with one particular organization usually. I want to know more about how free agents use social media to spur change and support causes
11. Millennials Defined: young people born between 1978 & 1992 I am a millennial and I support causes that work to abolish human trafficking. I would like to become a free agent that uses social media to make social change as a millenial do I have an advantage in the realm of social media?
